An early morning art fix

by

This is what I would do on a regular Monday morning at 7:24 a.m.: drink coffee, listen to progressive French electronic music from the seventies (Zanov to be exact) and browse pictures by the talented Jirat James. And yes, I’m always late for work… Sorry!

I love what Jirat writes about creative panic on his blog – don’t we all know that feeling of leaving things headless just for a while:

Just realised I only have about a month to make all the work for my show coming up in January. Had a freak out the other night and pulled an all-nighter on the first image just to get the momentum going, everything was going fine until I got to the head, might leave him headless who knows.

As far as I can tell, the body was added the scull on the flyer – the collar and the scarf is the same, right? Oh, I wish I could be in Sydney to see his upcoming show!
